Viridor's application to increase the amount of waste it burns at the Liberal Democrat-approved-Beddington plant is now live - and it's important you add your views to ensure permission isn't granted.
If approved, even more waste will be imported from outside our area to be incinerated at Beddington. That's also more waste than it was designed to burn through. Then there are the existing issues around local traffic and other local concerns over how the plant is run and operates.
All of these issues will only be exacerbated if the application is granted, and more waste is allowed to be incinerated in Beddington.
I've campaigned endlessly with many local residents and groups for a long time to stop this, and now that the consultation is open, I hope you'll join me in putting an end to it.
