I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the kind messages from people, whether they supported me or not. It means the world to me!
Being the MP for my hometown has been an enormous privilege. Despite the difficulties, I’ve enjoyed it immensely and am so proud of what we achieved together.
I wish my successor and the incoming Government every success.
I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family and catching up on some rest.
