The London Boroughs of Sutton (and Kingston) have been awarded £886,000 Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Capital Funding.

This funding will help Sutton Council significantly scale up the delivery of chargepoints and help residents without off-street parking switch to electric vehicles if that is right for them.

This is another important step in making it easier to choose electric vehicles across the country. There are nearly 57,000 public charging devices available in the UK, an increase of 47% since this time last year. This puts us on track to reach 300,000 chargepoints across the country by 2030.
