There are going to be some Gas works around Wrythe Lane and Erskine Road, beginning on the 22nd of January. The aim of these works are to replace old metal gas pipes with new PE plastic pipes to ensure that our community continues to recieve safe and reliable gas.
The works are being carried out in three phases:
Phase one – From 22 January 2024 for approximately ten weeks. To ensure the safety of everyone around our worksite, one lane of Wrythe Lane will be shut, between Erskine Road to opposite the junction of Wrythe Green Road.
Phase two - 1 April 2023 for approximately four weeks. The works will be at the junction of Wrythe Lane with Wrythe Green Road. It will be necessary to close the road at the worksite. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses. A signed diversion route will be in place.
Phase three - 29 April 2024 for approximately four weeks. The works will be at Erskine Road junction with Wyrthe Lane. It will be necessary to close the road at the worksite. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses. A signed diversion route will be in place.
