Childcare support in Carshalton and Wallington

This Conservative Government has worked to ensure that all working parents can receive 30 hours of childcare from when their child is 9 months old, right up until they start school. Under the last Labour Government, parents of 3 and 4 year olds received 12.5 hours of childcare per week.

This is the largest expansion of childcare provision in our country's history. Not only has the amount of childcare available nearly tripled, but childcare isn't restricted to just three and four year olds.

Unfortunately, Labour are yet to support our plan for childcare - and they have no plan to support working parents here in Carshalton and Wallington.

The plans to expand childcare that this Conservative Government are making, will help support adults by easing the cost of living, help provide education to the youngest children and remove one of the biggest barriers to parents working.
