Elliot Colburn MP is delighted to announce the launch of his first-ever 'Carshalton and Wallington Best Business Competition'!
The competition is now OPEN, and Elliot is urging all Carshalton and Wallington residents to vote for their favourite independent shops and businesses.
Votes will be open until 5pm on Tuesday 30th November and are spread across three categories:
- Best Local Independent Shop
- Best Café/ Restaurant
- Best Micro/Online Business
The winners will be announced at a special ceremony at the Cryer Arts Theatre, Carshalton, on Saturday 4th December to coincide with Small Business Saturday. Elliot Colburn MP commented:
Independent businesses in Carshalton and Wallington have had it rough since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these struggles, our local shops and businesses have worked incredibly hard to be there for us when times were tough, serving their community and adapting to extremely difficult circumstances.
It is time we celebrated our fantastic local, independent businesses and gave them the recognition that they deserve!
