Reintroduction of Rail Services from Carshalton Beeches/Wallington

Update on the reintroduction of rail services from Carshalton Beeches and Wallington Station to London Bridge.

Absolutely delighted that after months of campaigning, GTR are reintroducing the 06:29/06:32 and 07:59/08:02 from Carshalton Beeches/Wallington Station to London Bridge from Tuesday 29th March.

For now, these changes will only show on the day of travel, but will be added to longer term journey planners as soon as possible.

I'm particularly pleased with the reintroduction of the 07:59/08:02 as this is the most commonly raised service by residents. Commuters will now, once again, arrive in central London for 08:28- just in time to get into the office for 09:00am.

There is still more to do to ensure our services not only reach pre-pandemic levels, but also remain reliable, on-time, and staffed. I will continue to work with GTR to achieve this, however if you have any concerns/comments, please get in touch with me at elliot.colburn.mp@parliament.uk.
