Following consultation which was held between 8th January and 1st April 2020, Improving Healthcare Together 2020 to 2030 (IHT) has published the findings of the consultation in an independent consultation analysis report into plans to spend £500 million to improve healthcare provision, including at St Helier Hospital.
The report is an independent analysis of all consultation feedback on the proposals to address the challenges facing Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and will be used as one of the pieces of evidence, alongside other evidence to inform South West London and Surrey Heartlands Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) decision making process. You can read the report here.
I was delighted to join Paul Scully MP to talk about the next steps via video with the IHT team, as well as the very positive feedback to the consultation, which showed incredible public support for plans to invest and improve in St Helier Hosptial.
IHT will be looking at the responses in detail and doing work around the areas that people have asked for further clarifications. The next step will be a meeting of the local CCGs on 3rd July to discuss the results.
