Yesterday I dropped of a donation of around 3,000 face masks at Sutton Council to be used by frontline staff, such as those in our care homes.
I have been joining forces with Volunteer Centre Sutton, Community Action Sutton and Age UK Sutton to do regular deliveries of PPE to our GPs and other organisations, and I am pleased to see them well stocked.
Somebody recently came to me to ask where they could help by donating some face masks, and I was delighted to be able to drop off the masks to the Council for our frontline staff.
I also want to thank the many Carshalton and Wallington residents, especially our schools, who have been hand-making PPE to donate to frontline key workers.
