Next week is Recess in Westminster. Whilst the House of Commons won't be sitting, and I'll be using the time to get around as much of our area as possible, my team will be carrying out several free tours of Parliament.
The tours are an excellent way for local residents to step inside one of the most famous buildings in the world, find out more about its history, and see where the big decisions are made. Moreover, as it's Recess, visitors will see as much Parliament as possible.
I'm really keen to ensure that as many local people as possible can visit, and my team are excellent tour guides, as those who've already been here for a tour can attest to! In fact, you can find some of their great feedback on the page.
Tours will last about two hours, and there are slots available both on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. If you're interested in a tour, please get in touch at elliot.colburn.mp@parliament.uk.
Numbers are limited, so please be quick. However, don't worry if you can't make next week; the team carries out tours throughout the year!
