Many people have been getting in touch about how the bus diversions over the Sandy Lane junction are hugely impacting many Roundshaw and South Beddington residents. Especially in Roundshaw, where people have been practically cut off.
It's unacceptable.
That's why, along with your local Conservative councillors Patrick Magnus and Jonathan Pearce, and London Assembly Member Neil Garratt AM, I'm calling on Lib Dem-run Sutton Council to work with TfL and residents to fix the problem they have created with the bollard on the junction with Stafford Road and Sandy Lane South to allow buses back through to Roundshaw.
Though I need your help to make them see how much the situation is negatively impacting everyone - those trying to get to and from school, work, the shops, or even just to visit friends and family. Especially with the darker and colder evenings now upon us.
