I had such a great time at the Wallington Animal Rescue (WAR) fair this afternoon!
WAR is run by a husband and wife non profit voluntary team who are dedicated to the rescuing of domestic animals and wildlife. They focus on rehabilitation and rehoming of abandoned and neglected animals, supporting owners in distress, educating the community regarding the welfare of animals, and much more!
The WAR festival was held at the Cryer Arts Theatre and it was fantastic to be able to speak to craft stall holders and local businesses about their artwork and products. WAR also ran a tombola, food and drink and live performances throughout the evening, however my highlight was definitely the doggy cuddles with Emma!
You can find out more about the amazing work of WAR here.
