I met earlier today with the RSPCA and with the South London Animal Investigation Network (SLAIN) to continue discussions around the horrendous spate of recent cat killings across London.

The conversation was productive, and we are considering ways to bring all relevant agencies and groups together to look at the next steps in addressing these attacks against cats.

We aim to meet again in the coming weeks, and I will report back further then.

As ever, if you have any concerns about your pets, please do get in touch with one of the superb local animal welfare charities I am working work:

  • the RSPCA
  • Cats Protection
  • Dogs Trust
  • Battersea Dogs and Cats Home

If you have information which you believe may help SLAIN, please do head to their Facebook page to see how to get in touch: www.facebook.com/SLAINUK

Or please do feel free to contact me directly and I will be glad to do what I can to advise and help.
