Earlier today I spoke about the Chris Donovan Trust, and the amazing work it does in Carshalton and Wallington - and elsewhere - to encourage restorative justice.
I've met with Ray and Vi Donovan, and heard from them about their own experiences after they met their son Chris's killers.
I was pleased that the Lord Chancellor the Justice Secretary paid tribute to the Trust, and that he himself is a big supporter of restorative justice. I welcomed his assurances that restorative justice must be victim-led, and any decisions with regard to it must involve the victims first and foremost.
