I know many residents throughout Carshalton and Wallington have been involved in the Afghan relocation scheme - just as they have with the Homes for Ukraine programme, a testament to our community's spirit and pride - so I wanted to use the opportunity to raise this directly with the Minister at today's Defence Questions.
Alongside noting my personal thanks to the MoD team heading up the relocation programme, I was also able to ask the Minister for updated figures as to just how many people have been resettled as part of the programme since the beginning of Operation Pitting.
