Taking place on the last Saturday in June, Armed Forces Day is an opportunity for the country to show its support for the Armed Forces. It's something that I know many of us in the local community pride ourselves on.
So, it was a great honour to join local representatives, members of the armed forces, and related organisations at the Armed Forces Day flag raising in Trinity Square this morning, marking the start of the celebrations ahead of Saturday's events.
