Tonight Conservative members across the London Borough of Sutton came together to help launch a local branch of the Conservative Friends of India.
I was joined by Paul Scully (MP for Sutton and Cheam), Neil Garratt (Conservative candidate for Croydon and Sutton in City Hall) and Shaun Bailey (Conservative candidate for Mayor of London) to launch this exciting new branch. We also marked the Holi season.
Conservative Friends of India (CF India) seeks to build stronger links between the Conservative Party, the British Indian community and India. It recognises the successes and values of British Indians and advocates closer relations between India and Britain to the benefit of both nations. We also work to boost support for the Conservative Party from the British Indian community.
We know what a valuable contribution the Indian community gives to the London Borough of Sutton, and we are on your side.
