This afternoon, I visited the Social Dough Company who set up their food truck in Hackbridge as part of a new food vendor scheme.
Hackbridge and New Mill Quarter residents can expect to taste a variety of street food each week as part of the scheme set up by Chair of the New Mill Quarter Residents Association, Sheldon Vestey. The programme is currently running on a one-month trial and will include pizza, Indian, Caribbean, Thai and more.
It was great to talk with residents to hear their feedback on the scheme, as well as talk with the Social Dough Company, which was set up during Coronavirus restrictions to bring Neapolitan pizza to people’s doorsteps. I look forward to visiting Hackbridge again to sample food from upcoming vendors- keep an eye out on the Hackbridge Facebook Group for updates!
