Today I took part in a debate about Assisted Dying in Parliament.
Assisted Dying is a contentious topic.
I had many Carshalton and Wallington residents email me to ask that I attend the recent debate in Parliament on this issue, and I was pleased to do so.
While I still might not know how I would vote on this if it was ever to be considered to become law, I do believe we need a national discussion on the end of life, including redoubling our efforts to find cures for degenerative illnesses, and improving palliative care.
