I am making changes to how my office will be operating due to concerns about the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
First and foremost, given the ever changing nature of the situation, I strongly advise that people seek advice directly from Government and the NHS, rather than potentially false of misleading sources in other media or online. This is the best way to keep up to date with the advice.
For government advice, please see their dedicated website here, and for more help with health and wellbeing, see the dedicated NHS Coronavirus website here.
The UK's response is being guided by the scientific and medical advice of our Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientific Officer.
Given these concerns, and the most recent guidance issued by the government and the NHS, I am changing the way my office will be operating.
I have cancelled all non-essential meetings and face-to-face contact with others. This includes, for the time being, cancelling my constituency surgeries.
However, I will continue to be on hand to help with any issues you might have. My team and I are available on email at elliot.colburn.mp@parliament.uk or over the phone at 020 7219 5862.
Please get in touch if you have any concerns, not just about Coronavirus, and my team and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
